Your role Sunday has been built on exceptional products and strong high-intent search. Our next phase of growth is about building powerful categories - with clear audiences, compelling benefits, and distinctive stories, brought to life consistently across every touchpoint. As Director Category Marketing, you will build this function from the ground up. You’ll lead and grow a team of Category Managers, empowering each of them to own and develop their category like a business. You’ll establish the operating model that connects product development with marketing execution and take ownership of the commercial performance of your categories. Build and lead the function - hire, develop and lead a team of Category Marketing Managers, each owning a category end-to-end Own the portfolio - recommend which categories we prioritise, how investment and resource are allocated between them Set the operating system - audience definitions, benefit architecture, briefing standards, GTM playbook, launch process - so every category runs to the same standard rather than reinventing it each time Own category growth - revenue, new customer acquisition and margin across the portfolio, including the hard trade-offs between categories Be the bridge between product development and marketing execution (creative teams, channels): turn product innovation into audience-led propositions, all lathering up to the brand positioning Drive integrated activation with Performance, Brand, Creative, Social, Influencer, CRM, PR etc. for the full funnel (one plan per category) Lead the flagship launches (e.g. all-in-one, sleep) and build the playbook that makes every launch after them faster Represent the category agenda to the leadership team and shareholders - priorities, performance, investment cases Your role 10+ years in category, brand or product marketing ideally with FMCG, consumer health, supplements or DTC experience - at least 5 years experience in leading teams Proven track record building a cate
