About the Role Join the technical customer-success team at a fast-growing, Y Combinator-backed AI voice SaaS startup headquartered in Berlin. As a Customer Engineer , you'll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and customers — ensuring successful adoption of the platform, resolving technical challenges, and translating real-world customer needs into meaningful product improvements. Your work will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction and the broader mission of automating customer call operations at scale. What You'll Do Provide hands-on technical guidance to help customers deploy, configure, and optimize the platform for their specific use cases. Troubleshoot PostgreSQL-backed data workflows and full-stack code (TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python) alongside customers. Support customers in building effective prompting strategies and AI agent workflows to unlock maximum value from the product. Build and maintain strong, trust-based customer relationships, acting as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal product/engineering teams. Gather, synthesize, and communicate customer feedback to drive product improvements, documentation, and roadmap decisions. What We're Looking For Required 2+ years of Software Engineering experience with demonstrated, direct business impact through written code. Solid experience with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Python . Familiarity with PostgreSQL , including troubleshooting data workflows. Experience in a customer-facing capacity — technical support, solutions engineering, developer relations, or similar. Ability to help customers with prompting techniques and AI agent workflows. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable serving as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Nice to Have Strong computer science fundamentals. Prior experience in B2C SaaS, conversational AI, or voice automation products. Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for AI/LLM-driven products
