Role Summary We are looking for an Anti-Corruption & Trade Compliance Legal Counsel to play a central role in the building, development and operation of Mistral AI's corporate compliance framework, with a particular focus on anti-corruption, economic sanctions and export controls . Reporting to the Lead Anti-Corruption & Trade Compliance, the position offers genuine build-from-scratch ownership of core policies, processes and tools. It combines programme development, day-to-day compliance operations and cross-functional advisory work. The role involves close collaboration with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Sales, Security, and Product and Engineering to translate legal requirements into clear, proportionate and auditable processes. Key responsibilities Anti-corruption/Sapin II Coordinate Sapin II Action Plan deployment of relevant policies, controls, training and third-party procedure. Lead the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of risk-based due diligence from integrity screening through enhanced diligence and periodic review; Support the implementation and periodic review of the code of conduct, related policies, whistleblowing framework and training programme, Administer the gifts, hospitality and conflicts-of-interest processes, including reviewing requests and declarations, maint
